During the last month, The Heritage Centre has seen visitors from Switzerland, the UK, the USA and most Australian States, including New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, the ACT and Tasmania.  The visitors have been impressed by the comprehensive displays of the early history of Cootamundra and district and by the friendliness shown by volunteers. Some comments: Great memories; Wish we had more time; The best; Wonderful guides; What history - a wonderful display; What a treasure trove.  A number of former Cootamundrians have dropped into the centre and are always pleased when the rostered volunteer can recall their families. Those looking for family history are recommended to Cootamundra Local History Society Inc.
